If you're applying to come to Canada for studying, working, or living purposes, you have the option to include your dependent child or children in your application. Your child can be considered a dependent as long as they meet the necessary requirements, such as age limits and required documents. Your dependent child will need to apply for a study permit, work permit, or visitor visa accordingly. They can be either accompanying or non- accompanying, and they can be your biological child, adopted child, or common-law child.
